Ben Stokes confident in bowling in the second test after hitting his knee in Brisbane vs Australia
Adelaide. England all-rounder Ben Stokes said Tuesday that he would be fit to go bowling in the second Ash test here. He suffered a knee injury while fielding during the Gabba Test, which hosts Australia won by nine wickets. The team was in trouble after the 30-year-old Stokes suffered an injury as he was repeatedly seen feeling uncomfortable.

Stokes plays as the team’s fourth fast pitcher, hitting in the middle order.
He wrote in the Mirror: “I had an injury during Gabba’s test, for which I felt a bit uncomfortable, but now I’m fine.”

Stokes further wrote: “This is an old injury that is causing problems over and over again and I know it needs to be fixed soon, which I am concentrating on.”
“After the opening loss, we have a good chance to get back into the series and we’ve been back in a lot of series like we did against South Africa and the West Indies so we have to do it again,” he said.
