Apparently, OPPO is preparing to launch a new affordable smartphone with the designation A55s.
The first renderings of the device have now been revealed along with some of the specs that we can expect to see on the terminal.
OPPO A55 renderings reveal triple rear camera setup
Soon, OPPO may launch another affordable smartphone in various markets. Apparently, the model will be the A55 and the design, as well as some of its main specifications, are beginning to be revealed in the web world.
Let’s start with the design that was featured by the 91Mobiles website that released the first renderings of the team. In the images we can see the model in black and green and even perceive some of the features included.
At the rear, we find a three-camera setup, similar to Oppo’s A54s model. Otherwise, the design in this area is pretty minimal and doesn’t include the fingerprint sensor that should be located on the on / off button.
The front area of ​​the OPPO A55s is almost entirely taken up by the screen, which should be an IPS LCD. But here we find differences with the predecessor of the model. The A55s features a left-aligned selfie shot, while the previous model placed the front camera in a waterdrop-shaped notch.
OPPO A55s may be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 480 5G processor
As the A55 was identified on Geekbench listings with the model number CPH2309, some of its specifications are now known. In Geekbench tests, the terminal scored 510 and 1592 in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
The same listing revealed that the new terminal is equipped with a Qualcomm processor with six 1.8GHz CPU cores and two 2.04GHz CPU cores. These indications suggest that the integrated Qualcomm processor will be the Snapdragon 480 5G.
The information goes beyond that the OPPO A55s will also be equipped with 4 GB of RAM and the Android 11 operating system.
