The new functionality was announced by the application itself, which stated that this initiative is intended to respond to users when they “get confused” and that, at the same time, it wants to inform them about technical problems that the application may have. face.
However, Instagram also says that not all outages will be communicated to users. The application will only send notifications when it considers that these failures can generate widespread confusion. Also according to the app, the feature is now being tested in the US.
Instagram is developing a new account status section
Instagram also took the opportunity to inform users that it is also working on a new section, Account Status. Here, users can find detailed information about why their account was suspended or a post was removed.
More: if the user considers that the reasons given are not valid, they can request a review of the decision.
Instagram also said that it plans to add more features to this new section in the coming months. For example, inform users about how your content is distributed and recommended within the application.
