OnePlus will hold a conference next week to announce its brand new smartphone: the OnePlus 9RT. It will be a mid-range and will probably not arrive in Europe. In addition to that, the Buds Z 2 should also be presented.
This year, no OnePlus 9T. The brand has indeed decided to ignore the “ultimate” model of the range to focus on its future. However, fans will still be able to console yourself with the OnePlus 9RT, which will be unveiled next week.
It will be a new version of the OnePlus 9R, mid-range terminal reserved for India and China. It should not arrive here, Europe already having the OnePlus Nord 2 in this segment. It was Pete Lau, the boss of OnePlus, who broke the news on Weibo. The terminal will be unveiled in detail on October 13, next Wednesday.
The OnePlus 9RT could carry a Snapdragon 888
A visual of the product was also presented and it logically takes up the design codes of the 9 range. We could even confuse it with a OnePlus 9! For the moment, we logically do not have the technical characteristics, but it would embed a 120 Hz AMOLED screen., a battery of 4500 mAh as well as a fast charge of 65 Watts. For the processor, we should have a Snapdragon 870 or 888 (which would be very interesting) and for the photo, a main sensor of 50 megapixels.

In short, a very solid mid-range, which would pull almost towards the top of the range. Now remains to know at what price OnePlus will market its baby. It will be accompanied by a new model from Buds, the Z2. These will be available in white and black, but we do not have more details on the subject.
In any case, this OnePlus 9RT will be the last model of the 9 range, since the 9T is not on the program. 2022 will be an important year for the manufacturer who will offer a new overlay, unified with that of Oppo, the parent company. The OnePlus 10 will therefore be very interesting to follow and should mark a new beginning for the brand.
