The Palestinian Ministry of Health has released the names and ages of eight people killed by Israeli forces in the Jenin refugee camp.

The deceased were Noor Al-Din Husam Marshoud (16), Majdi Arrawi (17), Ali Hani Al-Ghoul (17), Husam Mohammad Abu Thiba (18), Aws Hani Hanoun (19), Sameh Firas Abu Al-Wafa ( 20), Ahmad Mohammad Amer (21) and Mohammad Muhannad Al-Shami (23).

21-year-old Mohammad Imad Hasanin was the ninth Palestinian killed by Israeli forces on Monday. He was shot dead at the northern entrance to the city of Ramallah.

A resident of the Jenin camp said children were shaking and crying in fear. They say at least 10 missiles were fired on Monday morning. Many houses were destroyed and smoke still billows from the rubble.

Mahmoud al-Saadi, director of the Palestinian Red Crescent, said the bomb was dropped from an airplane in Jenin. It seems that a war has begun on the surface. Many houses were bombed and the entire area was engulfed in smoke.

The Palestinian health minister says that many people were injured in the Israeli attack. Many of them are in critical condition.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), on the other hand, said they were attacking ‘terrorist infrastructure in the Jenin area’. The Palestinians have called the camp a ‘terrorist base’ and said, ‘We will not stand idly by when terrorists use the Jenin camp as a hideout and try to harm civilians.’
