Australian Mitchell Starc became the most expensive player in IPL history when Kolkata Knight Riders added him to their team with the highest bid of Rs 24.75 crore. After him, in second place is the name of Australian fast bowler and captain Pat Cummins, whom the Sunrisers Hyderabad team added to their team for a payment of Rs 20.50 crore.
