Bipasha Basu has been a household name in Bollywood for years, starring in hit films like “Raj,” “No Entry,” and “Jism.” But after giving birth to her daughter in 2022, she faced a new challenge: body shaming. Trollers targeted her for her weight gain, and it seemed like the entire world was against her.

Recently, former Miss India Shweta Vijay Nair posted a video on Instagram slamming those who trolled Bipasha for her weight. The video sparked a heated debate, with many coming out in support of the actress. Bipasha herself responded to the video, saying, “Thanks for your straightforward words. I hope humanity won’t always be so shallow and will encourage women’s dedication and sacrifice.”

Bipasha, who married actor Karan Singh Grover in 2016, has always been confident and outspoken. But she admits that the trolls and memes could have hurt her if she weren’t as strong. “I’m a very confident woman with a wonderful family,” she said. “Memes and trolls have never bothered me, but these elements can bother women. If a woman were in my place, she could have been very affected and hurt by this cruelty.”

The actress also emphasized the importance of women supporting each other. “If women start understanding women’s pain, they will become stronger,” she said.

Bipasha has been open about her journey as a new mother, often sharing adorable photos and videos of her daughter on social media. Despite the challenges she’s faced, she remains a beloved figure in the entertainment industry, and her fans continue to admire her for her strength and resilience.
