India: A 50 feet high swing collapsed during the fair, in which 50 people were injured, the heartbreaking video of the accident went viral.
According to the details, a 50-feet high swing broke and fell on the ground during a big festival in the Mohali district of the Indian state of Punjab.
Due to which 50 people including women and children were injured in the swing, Chaos spread after the accident in Mohali Mela.
The people injured in the accident were shifted to the hospital, the investigation of the accident is going on.
Civil doctor Dr. Subhash said that more than five people were admitted to the hospital, but the condition of none is critical.
People who were present at the time of the accident claimed that no safety measures were taken in organizing the fair.
Officials said the organizers of the fair had permission to hold the event till September 4, while a board informing about the extension of the deadline till September 11 was displayed at the venue.
DSP Harseman Singh Bal said that according to our information, the Mela management had permission to hold the show, but in case of any lapse on the part of the management, action will be taken against those responsible.
