Not even in the summer, with more activities outside the home, do streaming platforms stop releasing various new content for their users.
This week, Apple TV + and HBO Max bring two highly anticipated news. In the first, the second season of Foundation premieres, while in the second, Full Circle is presented, a series directed by the well-known director Steven Soderbergh.
1. Foundation Season 2 – Apple TV+
The second season of one of the most successful series on the platform, Foundation, has just premiered on Apple TV+.
This time, the story picks up a century after the season one finale, with tension rising across the galaxy as the Cleon seem to begin to fall apart.
2. Blind Barcelona – Netflix
In this nearly two-hour thriller, a father-daughter duo roam the deserted streets of Barcelona in a post-apocalyptic setting, avoiding eye contact with a mysterious alien force at all costs.
3. Full Circle – HBO Max
This six-episode series stars such household names as Claire Danes, Timothy Olyphant, and Dennis Quaid, and is directed by Steven Soderbergh.
The story centers on a botched kidnapping investigation that uncovers long-held secrets that connect multiple characters and cultures in modern-day New York City.
4. The After Party Season 2 – Apple TV+
How about uniting all movie genres in one series? That’s exactly what the second season of The Afterparty does.
A murder mystery connects all the characters and each suspect’s story is told through a different film genre. It deserves points for its originality.
5. The Summer That Changed My Life Season 2 – Amazon Prime
This series, based on the work of the American writer Jenny Han, returns for a second season.
Once again, we will follow the love affairs and misadventures between Belly and the Conrad brothers. The soundtrack of this second season is the song “Back to December” by Taylor Swift.
