5 great RAZER novelties you’ll want to buy in 2023

1. Project Carol Concept Design, more than a pillow


Razer introduced Project Carol. In practice, this is the world’s first proximity surround sound head pad with haptic feedback capable of transporting gamers to a new world of audio and immersion.

Project Carol is the latest concept from Razer’s innovative R&D division. It is the result of a team dedicated to exploring new ideas, influencing the brand’s future product portfolio, and which has received several Innovation awards earlier this year.

Project Carol defines a new level of immersion and realism with the clever use of proximity surround sound for audio. This is combined with 7.1 surround sound for a truly immersive gaming experience.

Additionally, Project Carol is natively PC compatible and designed to fit all gaming chairs. Here including the popular Iskur and Enki from Razer, through elastic and adjustable straps.

2. There is a new generation of Razer Blade laptops

In second place we have the new generation of gaming laptops from Razer. This 2023 evolution of the Razer Blade marks a paradigm shift in gaming laptops.

In practice, it combines state-of-the-art 16:10 monitors with the latest and most powerful graphics and processing technologies. All housed in Razer’s signature thin and light chassis.

The new notebooks are available in two sizes, 16-inch and 18-inch, and will hit the market in Q1 with prices starting at $2,699 and $2,899, respectively.

Next up is Razer’s new webcam, and here the news is really amazing (and simple). This is because the bigger the sensor, the better the image quality. Based on this premise, the Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra redefines visual standards in content creation and live streaming.

To maximize the sensor’s potential, the Kiyo Pro Ultra is equipped with a custom lens with an F/1.7 aperture that can capture nearly four times more light than other webcams.

Finally, this webcam hits the market in January 2022 starting at €349.99.

Razer also revealed two virtual reality accessories for Meta Quest 2. Here we have the Razer Adjustable Head Strap System and the Razer Face Interface.

To extend VR play and increase comfort, Razer created the adjustable strap system and facial interface for the Meta Quest 2 in collaboration with leading human factors specialist ResMed.

Razer’s VR peripherals for Meta Quest 2 will be available in the US in Q1 2023, with plans to expand to other regions in the future.
