1. The Staircase: Available on HBO Max
Based on a true story, this eight-episode miniseries follows the life of Michael Peterson and his extended family in North Carolina, culminating in the death of his wife, Kathleen. Michael is accused of the murder, but claims that his wife died accidentally falling down the stairs. However, the police have another opinion and believe that Michael beat the woman who organized the accident to death.
The cast includes such household names as Colin Firth, Toni Collette, Michael Stuhlbarg and Juliette Binoche.
2. The Pentaverate – available on Netflix
“What if a secret society of five men has been working to influence world events for the greater good since the Black Death of 1347?” Thus begins the synopsis of the comedy series El Pentaverato, leaving us totally intrigued and curious. But in fact, the series follows a Canadian journalist who is committed to finding out the truth and in this mission he will still have to save the world.
This six-episode series was created and written by Mike Myers, who plays seven characters in the plot.
3. The Book of Boba Fett – available on Disney Plus
The series tells the story of legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand as they navigate the underworld of the Galaxy as they return to the sands of Tatooine to reclaim the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his criminal organization.
4. The Wilds: Wild Lives – available on Amazon Prime
The series follows a group of teenagers who experience a plane crash when it crashes into the ocean. The purpose of the trip was a trip to Hawaii to participate in the Dawn of Eve program.
All the passengers survive the plane crash and are stranded on a desert island. But these survivors do not even suspect that they are part of a very well thought out social experience with unexpected contours.
