KABUL: A former Afghan defense minister has claimed that 34 Taliban militants were killed in Panjshir.
According to foreign media, the former Afghan defense minister has claimed that 34 Taliban were killed in Panjshir, Bismillah Mohammadi said that 65 Taliban were also injured in Panjshir.
According to Bismillah Mohammadi, the Taliban attacked Panjshir again on Tuesday night.
“People should not worry, the Taliban have suffered heavy casualties,” he said.
Clashes between the Taliban and the Northern Alliance in Panjshir following the failure of the talks have spread fear and panic in the region.
It is to be noted that according to Afghan TV, clashes between the Taliban and the residents of Panjshir have been going on since last night, which have intensified now.
According to Afghan TV, modern weapons are being used by both sides and each other’s targets are being targeted. Afghan TV has also released footage of bombings and firing in the mountains.
Earlier, seven Taliban militants were killed in clashes between the Taliban and the Northern Alliance in Panjshir.
