2Game Esports Upsets LOUD for First VCT Americas Victory

The Brazilian showdown in the VCT Americas kicked off on Sunday between LOUD and 2Game Esports (2G). Both teams were looking to bounce back from losses in the first round – LOUD fell to KRÜ Esports, while 2G was beaten by Evil Geniuses.

But 2G had more to worry about. Their captain, Brenno “zap” Roberto, announced his departure from the lineup, raising questions about the team’s future. Luckily, they quickly found a replacement in Joshua “PxS” Brunelli, a Brazilian-American player.

The match between LOUD and 2G started with a bang. The first map, Lotus, went into overtime, with 2G taking the win 14-12.
