Brazilian esports organization 2GAME Esports has initiated its rebuilding phase for the 2026 VALORANT season, signing its first new player after being relegated from the elite VCT Americas circuit.
The organization announced Monday, November 24, that Gabriel “ambitioN” Lima will join its VALORANT roster. He is set to compete in the VALORANT Challengers Brazil (VCB), the country’s Tier 2 league.
Lima, formerly known by the nickname “qck,” recently rebranded his in-game identity. He stated this change signifies a “new beginning in his career.”
2GAME Esports spent the 2025 season competing in the top-tier VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Americas. However, the team was relegated after failing to meet the necessary competitive targets.
The organization welcomed Lima with a lighthearted message. He is currently the only player announced for the 2026 roster.
I think we were tricked…He wasn’t a delivery driver, but nothing better than welcoming new people home! Welcome to our VALORANT team, @ambition_val 😈#PlayPurple pic.twitter.com/L5sGMgJmae
