In India, 26 Hindu pilgrims were killed when a tractor-trolley fell into a pond.
The accident happened in the city of Kanpur in India, the majority of the dead are children and women, most of the deaths were due to drowning.
According to Superintendent of Police Tej Swaroop Singh, the tractor-trolley was carrying 40 people who were returning from attending a function at a nearby Hindu temple.
10 people have also been injured in the accident and have been shifted to the hospital.
Last week too, 10 people were killed when a tractor overturned in Uttar Pradesh.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences to the families of those who died in the accident.
