22,000 rust-resistant coffee plants delivered to Bonao coffee growers

The Dominican Coffee Institute (Indocafé) delivered to coffee growers belonging to the Juan Adrián Coffee Growers Association, in Monseñor Nouel province, Bonao, 22,000 rust-tolerant coffee plants in optimal conditions for planting to promote and renew the area. .

The donation was made during a meeting that the executive director of Indocafé, Leónidas Batista Díaz, had with this Association, where about 20 coffee growers were benefited, which will motivate more producers to join the reforestation of the mountains with coffee.

The producers in the area demanded the formation of a work brigade and other necessary tasks. They also requested the continuity of the production of plants for planting, as well as tools and work equipment, products and supplies for the development of their coffee plantations.

In response to all these requests and needs presented by the Coffee Growers Association, the Indocafé executive director promised to make every effort possible and necessary to satisfactorily comply with it.
