200,000 soldiers killed or injured in Russia-Ukraine war, senior US general

US General Mark Milley has claimed that 100,000 soldiers on both sides have been killed or injured in the Russia-Ukraine war.

General Mark Milley, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, said in a conversation with the New York Economic Club on Wednesday that it is estimated that 1,100,000 soldiers of both Russia and Ukraine have been killed or injured in the 9-month war. According to this, around 40,000 civilians have also been killed in the war.

He also said that in recent days, Ukraine has indicated its willingness to negotiate with Moscow. For negotiation to succeed, both sides must agree on a single point, no one can win by using military force.

On the other hand, a major development in the 9-month-long conflict took place on November 10, in which Russia ordered the withdrawal of its troops from the main Ukrainian city of Kherson. According to the Russian authorities, it has not been possible to deliver supplies to this city, so the army is being evacuated from there.
