An 18-year-old college student in America was elected mayor of the city.
Jalen Smith participated in the mayoral election in Earle, Arkansas, in which he was successful.
Jaylen Smith graduated high school last May and will now run the city of 1,800.
It should be noted that Jalen Smith is not the first youngest mayor in the history of the United States, but before that, he has been elected as a young mayor, but he has received the honor of being the first youngest black mayor.
The newly elected mayor has expressed his commitment to police reforms, repair of sewage system, resettlement of abandoned houses.
