16 people died and 22 were injured in a terrible accident in Turkey (former Turkey).
According to Turkish media reports, a passenger bus overturned after hitting an ambulance and a fire brigade parked on the side of the road in Gazi-Antep province.
As a result of the accident, 16 people were killed and 22 injured, the injured have been immediately shifted to nearby hospitals for medical assistance.
Among the dead are three firefighters, two emergency workers and two journalists. This tragic incident took place during the rescue operation after the accident.
The Turkish Journalists’ Union confirmed the death of two of its colleagues, while pictures on social media showed several people lying on the street.
According to media reports, the Minister of Justice, Beker Bozdag, has announced an investigation into the accident, while several Turkish politicians have expressed sadness and regret over the incident.
