For now, the reasons given are two. From a more pragmatic perspective, some experts say this may be due to the current global chip crisis. Several manufacturers have stated that component shortages are significantly affecting equipment production.
Apple itself, in April this year, admitted that the shortage of components could affect its production of laptops and tablets and that it could not predict the impact that this situation would cause, since there were too many participants involved.
Apple CEO Tim Cook also added that he expected the brand to be driven by supply rather than demand for equipment. Apple’s strongman went even further, claiming that sales revenue could fall by the billions.
Is the Apple MacBook Pro M1X on the way?
But there is also a theory that this unavailability of Apple’s laptop may precede the launch of the MacBook Pro M1X. All because it was announced that its production volume will have started in August.
The new Apple laptop is expected to be equipped with the M1X chip that will optimize not only the performance of the machine but also the battery life. The Bloomberg news agency also reported that the model would have a total of 10 cores, eight high-performance and two low-power.
The same source of information indicated that two models would be made available, one with 14 and the other with 16 inches. 64GB of RAM, HDMI port, USB Type-C ports, MagSafe connector and SD card slot are other specifications advanced by the news agency.
