15 Deportivo Cali fans were expelled from the country

The National Directorate of Migration determined the expulsion from the country of 15 foreign citizens, members of the Deportivo Cali club in Colombia, who were arrested prior to the match with Boca for the Copa Libertadores.

The DNM notified the expulsion orders in the Courts where the different detainees are held. On Thursday, the immigration agency made itself available to the Government of the City of Buenos Aires as soon as the news of the arrest of the Colombian club’s members by the City Police spread in the media.

This Friday, both the City Police and the East Flagrancy Unit Prosecutor’s Office communicated with the agency to establish the immigration status of 18 people detained and charged in a process carried out by the City’s Criminal and Misdemeanor Justice.

Among the 15 citizens that the DNM ordered their expulsion, 5 have an irregular entry into the country and 10 entered with a tourist residence. The remaining 3 people, who have permanent residence, must wait for Justice to be issued.
