A 14-year-old Colombian environmentalist has been shot dead by unknown assailants.
According to foreign media, a young Colombian named Brenner David, who was on patrol at the time of the incident, was brutally shot dead the previous day.
The Gauka Regional Indigenous Council (CRIC) says an environmental activist was patrolling with a group of Danda Bardars when he came face to face with gunmen who opened fire on Brenner.
The shooting killed two people, a 14-year-old environmentalist and Berner David Cuco in the Latin American country of Colombia.
According to foreign media, more than 150 social workers were killed in Colombia last year, while in 2020, 65 environmental workers were killed in Colombia.
