It was a scene straight out of a script, but not the one they were filming. Over 120 people working on Ranveer Singh’s action movie ‘Dhurandhar’ suddenly fell ill. This happened on Sunday, August 17, and sent a shockwave through the set.
The crew was busy shooting in the Leh district of Ladakh. This area is known for its tough terrain, but the real trouble came from the food. Early checks suggest it might have been food poisoning. More details are expected to come out soon.
The incident took place in the Patthar Sahib area of Leh. The film team was shooting a big scene there. A local caterer provided meals for everyone. About 600 people ate the food that day. Out of these, 120 people got very sick. They quickly started feeling bad with vomiting, dizziness, and stomach pain. Medical teams were on standby and gave them first aid right away.
