1000 rupees 4G mobile phone introduced in India

New Delhi: The Indian mobile phone company Jio has decided to introduce a new 4G mobile phone at a very low price this year.

Jio is a subsidiary of India’s billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries, which provides affordable internet and phone calls.

Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani said that there are still 250 million mobile phone users in India who use ‘2G’ facilities, at a time when the world is on the cusp of the 5G revolution and basic internet features. The new ‘Jio Bharat’ phone is another step towards success.

The Reliance spokesperson’s statement added that our aim is to bring digital services to every Indian, especially those who cannot afford to buy a smartphone. The phone will usher in digital freedom for the 250 million feature phone users in India. Beta trials for the first 1 million ‘Jio Bharat’ phones begin on July 7.
